I wish I felt as positively as you all do about this cycle. I appreciate the kind comments and words, but so far the news from the clinic is not unambigous.
I did look over our donor's history. She has had 9 cycles before us yeilding 10 to 34 eggs with 8 pregnancies. Of course, it's been 2 years since she's stimulated, but I don't think 2 years for a super donor is the same as 2 years for someone, oh, I don't know, say like me.
We're doing the best we can at the best place we can be, so I'm hoping the best will come out of this.
It's really hard to focus on any other work, though.

- Our son was conceived after two months of "trying." Imagine our surprise when the next 8 pregnancies ended in miscarriages (5 chemical pgs and 3 clinical m/cs ranging from 8 weeks to 12 weeks). We've considered adoption but started trying donor eggs first. Our frist DE cycle was with frozen donor eggs. Our 1st fresh cycle was canceled when the donor tested (falsely) positive for HIV. We also think I may have an auto-immune issue. We are pregnant with twins after our 3rd DE cycle, the first one we got to "try" with!

She's got a great track record - don't worry! The important thing is the quality of the eggs. 8 out of 9 pregnancies is wonderful. You picked a good one.
Wow -- 8 of 9. That's really good. My first donor was 4 of 5 when we used her (they only allow 6 cycles through my clinic). We made it 5 out of 6. You can make it 9 of 10!
She sounds like a good one! That's a track record I'd feel pretty confident about!
